Frequently asked questions

No, this is not a free trial. There is no time limitation when you sign up for your free license to PICO digital work instructions.

The Basic plan is limited to 3 Manager/Admin licenses and 10 Operator/Supervisor licenses per site.

No, only one person from your business needs to request a free cloud-based deployment of PICO to get access to digital work instructions. Upon request, we can create separate deployments for companies looking to implement PICO in different departments and/or sites.

Each site is limited to 10 workstations and 150 processes.

With the Basic plan, you can access the Operator View on a tablet through a browser such as Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. The Android app is currently only supported for premium plans.

By making digital work instructions free to use, smaller factories can get started on their digital transformation journey now with no risk. Read this blog post to learn more.

No, for any premium plan you can add unlimited users, stations, and processes to your site's deployment of PICO.

The Essential plan includes a cloud-based or optional on-premise deployment, while the Professional and Enterprise plans are offered as a hybrid cloud-local deployment.

A site is equivalent to a physical factory location. For example, if you want to use PICO at your factory in Minneapolis you would deploy to one site. If you want to also use PICO at your factory in Phoenix, you would deploy to two sites.

You will need to purchase an Intel NUC server for a one-time cost of $495 and PICO Hub(s) at $75/Hub so you can connect to your local network and start connecting shop floor tools at your workstations. Check out this page to learn more about getting set up.

Pricing for the Professional plan includes $100 per connected station per month in addition to $100 per user per month, up to $1000 per site per month.

If you decide to stop your premium subscription to PICO, you will return to the free Basic plan. Your build data will not be lost, however please note that the Basic plan only includes one week of data retention.

Check out our onboarding training videos to learn the basics of setting up a product workflow, creating work instructions, adding actions, and deploying through change control.
